Police issue statement on Black Lives Matter rally

The Mount Horeb Police Department today released the following advisory regarding tomorrow's Black Lives Matter rally and march in Mount Horeb:

(Mount Horeb, WI) On 06-13-2020 AT 11:00 AM, a group of citizens will be gathering in Mount Horeb to speak up against systemic racism.  There will be speakers and the group will take a knee in honor of those who have perished because of the color of their skin. 

At approximately 12:00 PM, the group will walk from Grundahl Park, on Blue Mounds Street, to Main Street.  The group will continue to walk on Main Street to Second Street.  From 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, there will be expected road closures and traffic backups.  We recommend that you avoid this area during that time if possible.
