Local group files intent to recall school board member Leah Lipska

A group of citizens in the Mount Horeb Area School District this morning filed a statement of intent to recall Mount Horeb Area School District Board of Education member Leah Lipska. 

Lipska was the supervisor who called the special meeting at which the board cancelled in-person classes shortly prior to the start of the 2020-2021 school year, and she was one of four board members who on Monday night this week voted down a proposal by district administration that would have allowed K-2 students to return to school at the start of the second quarter, while keeping open a virtual pathway for those who chose it.
