Mount Horeb’s varsity wrestlers dropped a 65-3 decision to Waunakee last Friday.
The Vikings’ lone win came at 106 pounds, where Jaxon Pernot defeated Waunakee’s Jayden Freie, 7-2.
Waunakee also won the JV meet, 37-15.

The Verona-Mount Horeb swimmers closed the Verona Natatorium on Jan. 7.
The Natatorium opened in 1979, and the girls high school team began competing there in 1982. The boys began practicing and competing at the Nat since the team’s inception in 1986.

Mount Horeb cruised past the Silver Eagles, 142.1-116.7. In the process, the Vikings improved to 3-0 in the Northern Badger Conference.

Mount Horeb’s girls basketball team believes its capable of moving up in the Northern Badger Conference standings this season.
For that to happen, though, the Vikings need to take care of business against some of the league’s bottom feeders.
