The weather has finally improved.
And that means Mount Horeb’s boys golfers have been among the busiest athletes in the school.
The Vikings competed in four meets last week. And with the postseason almost here, Mount Horeb hopes it’s rounding into playoff form.

Mount Horeb’s girls track and field team won the 11-team Edgerton Tider Invite last Friday.
The Vikings finished with 131 points to easily outdistance runner-up Lodi (119). Platteville (87), Dodgeville/Mineral Point (85) and Monroe (71) rounded out the top five.

It was a rough week for Mount Horeb’s baseball team.
The Vikings dropped all three games they played, starting with a 6-3 loss to Reedsburg on May 4. DeForest toppled Mount Horeb, 10-2, on May 6, and the Vikings fell to Stoughton, 4-3, on May 7.

Mount Horeb’s soccer team rolled to a pair of wins last week.
The Vikings downed host Monroe, 10-0, on May 2 and toppled host Baraboo, 8-1, on May 6.
Mount Horeb is now 6-6 overall and 4-3 in the Badger West Conference.
